This fork locks the eye fitting or the M10 stud fitting to the RCB car. To attach the fitting to the car – this is how you do it:
Put a flat screw driver between the car and the locking fork, give it a twist and it will pop up. Pull it out with a pair of pliers.
Attach the fitting in the hole and put the fork back. You will need to push it in (toward the mast) while knocking it down gently with a small hammer. The fork will slide down in the groove of the fitting keeping it tightly secured.
Important – the eye fitting has a groove all around the fitting whereas the M10 stud fitting has grooves on each side to keep it vertical.
